This is insanity at best. When Palin goes out for speeches, she gets massive massive crowds, and when McCain follows her speech, people start leaving. She draws crowds 5 times greater than the actual presidential candidate with real experience.
What the hell does this say about U.S. citizens? Is celebrity more important to us than reality???

I bet if you put Angelie Jolie and Brad Pitt on a ticket, they would carry the crowds and get 100% of the media attention. She gets far more attention now than McCain and Obama and Biden. Weird.

I still can't figure out what the fascination is with her. I guess its the hillary syndrome, just a lady or a black guy or how about a cross dresser next to make it really interesting. ;D

the media went through this phase with Obama too. The media is in it for 2 reasons, one for whatever partisan views their execs want them to pump through to their viewers and viewership/profits.
they love to take one comment that a candidate makes and blow it out repeatedly until they start a major war between two sides, then they add fuel to the fire and really push it.
