Anyone see this on the news? double the casualties of an entire state of Texas size hurricane. I feel for those families.
Was the train conductor really texting while driving the train? IF this is true, then that is really scary they don't put the automatic safe guard stops into place to make the train stop on a red signal if the conductor doesn't notice.

i was in that exact spot Saturday visiting my grandma. They shut down topanga north of Devonshire and the topanga offramp on the 118 to work on this disaster. If that's true about the texting then I hope this sends a strong message to everyone from pilots to train conductors to drivers - it's not that important. whatever you have to say can wait 20 minutes.
