Can my personal residence be owned by a corporation? I still have a motgage so how do I switch it to the company name? It could be but it would have a dramatic effect on taxes. What was recommended to and I did was put it in a land trust and title the property in the trust. Now my name is not in public record for privacy this was explained to me this it looks I do not own the property helping in lawsuit protection

You can set up a NV Corp and office program with a phone line fax number and mailing address. Use the NV Corporation to place a lien against your personal residence removing all equity. Placing a lien will make the property unattractive if there is no equity.
