wow, no banks have crashed for an entire week - knock on wood everyone!!! :o

that will just mean triple bank closings for next week. don't let your guard down and diversify those assets.

well it was a little later than a week, but not by much for the triple bank closings and they were all in one day, how about that?

don't even get me started on how many mistakes they are making with this bailout. just take the money and give it to all the citizens of this country and let us spend it poorly ourselves. perhaps that would turn the recession around faster while helping people feed their families and pay their bills and purchase items they need from retail stores as well.

I thought this bailout was supposed to help fix the economy, and maybe its doing it in a small way, but it just looks like its getting worse and will continue falling into a deeper recession all the way through 2009.

Like Charlie Brown says "I'm Doomed" :(

I am so sick of this crap. Did you see the stupid execs from our auto companies travel to congress with their hands stretched out? Oh they traveled to congress in their private corporate jets costing their companies over $20,000.

Why don't we get rid of these idiot execs and cut down on their paychecks instead.

now you see the execs changing their tune because they understand congress is tired of their games. the CEO of Ford now wants a $1 a year salary and will drive to congress in a hybrid.

I love it, lets scare the daylites and put restrictions on all these banks and others coming with their hands open for our money.

OK I am getting so tired of watching giant corporation after giant corporation demand money or they will collapse.

I really don't want them to collapse, but I demand that our government get ownership of the companies they bailout and then let either the companies themselves eventually buy the company back from our government (at a profit to the tax payer if possible) or let other buyers buy the companies.

everything this board was predicting is coming true, including all the banks going under and the other companies threatening collapse and bankruptcy if the government doesn't bail them out.

look at GM and AIG again.

AIG gets another 40 billion - dammmmmmn.

If we bailout GM, I want the government/taxpayers to get ownership.

time for a poll.
